Lexi's First Camping Trip

Stefan and Faron seized the last possible opportunity of the year to take Lexi on her first camping trip before the chill made its presence permanent for the Fall and Winter. Lexi's been yearning for such a trip for quite some time and it was all she expected and more. They only spent one night, but crammed as much as was humanly possible to make this experience a memorable one for her. She came home raving about how much fun it was and I get the feeling this will be a more common occurrence for many years to come.

Abby and I stayed home because there is never a good time of the year for my allergies to be fully exposed to the elements. Not to mention, I prefer the warmth and softness of my bed over the damp, hard ground any day. Plus, Abby is still a bit young for this but I sense that it won't be long before she too joins in the fun.
