Lexism of the week--Mr. Wizard Gone Awry

When Stefan's family was visiting for Thanksgiving his Aunt and Uncle gave Lexi a pair of oval-shaped magnets that, when you separate them in your hand and toss them in the air, make a cricket sound coming down. Lexi was playing with these last night and Stefan decided to give her a science lessons. He explained that one was negative and the other was positive and that is why the magnets stick together--because opposites attract.

"This one's the naked one and this ones the positive," Lexi said proudly holding them in each hand thinking that she fully comprehended what Daddy taught.

We laughed. Then she went on further.

"This one's the husband and this one's the wife."

Stefan and I found it hard to stifle our giggles. Who knew a simple science lesson would go XXX?
