You belong in the zoo!

Yesterday we took the girls to this place. It was a good day with just us. Lexi loved the pandas but the baby was sleeping. She asked for and received a stuffed panda which she promptly named Emily. She went into the House of Reptiles with Daddy while I waited outside with Abby. When she came out she said that she didn't like the alligator of all things.

We got a kick out of her quite a few times when she would spit out little factoids that she knew about animals. This is a compilation of information that she picked up from school and various programs on TV. When we were at the elephant exhibit shed informed us about how they get bugs away from themselves.

When we got home, Stefan's brother came over and went swimming with Lexi and Stefan while I stayed home with the napping Abby. After the splishing and splashing the boys made a trip to the butcher store and brought home some yummy steaks. Abby was supervising Stefan's culinary abilities from the window.
