Lexism of the week

Today Lexi had a menu request for dinner - spaghetti. Due to some bad childhood memories I cannot consume spaghetti. Meat sauce on any other noodle is okay. Spaghetti/Angel Hair pasta is not okay. So, Stefan went to the store and got noodles (not spaghetti) and the makings for a meat sauce. Lexi was not thrilled about this alternative at first, but she ate her dinner none the less. She loved it. In fact at one point, she said, "I hope everybody in the world is having this for dinner."

After dinner I took the girls upstairs to give them a bath. Now I need to flash back a bit for clarity's sake. Lexi has been on a safety kick all summer. She is quick to point out when someone has committed a "safety violation." Now flash forward to tonight's bath. Lexi was getting into the tub and slipped a bit. She said that it was a safety violation. Then thinking on this a bit, she said, "It wasn't a safety violation. It was a tub violation. Because tub violations are safety violations that happen in the tub."
