Abby's Big Day

::sigh:: Today was Abby's big day. Her numero uno. All the main festivities will be on Saturday, but I couldn't let today go by like any other day. Last night Lexi and I made cupcakes (we bake a lot together for special events). Unfortunately, Abby's nap schedule did not allow for Stefan to be here for our intimate, little celebration tonight. It was just me and the girls, but it was good.

The girls ate dinner and afterwards we partook in the results from last night's bake fest.

At first Abby didn't know what to do or think about the cupcake.



She stuck her finger in it and looked at me as if to say, "What's the big deal about this, Mommy?"

Then, Lexi showed her how to eat it. This really was a hard thing to get Lexi to do because she hates cupcakes (<-- sarcasm here)




Then it was game on for Abby vs. cupcake 2007. She picked the whole thing up and tried to shove it in her mouth.




By the time all was said and done, she ingested about half of it...and the other half was reduced to crumbs.
